We are witnessing the beginning of a revolutionary movement within architecture.
Over the last century, global societies have witnessed a procedural collapse of local culture and tradition within the realm of architecture. In the name of standardization, minimalism and "modernity", we have seen inhumane cities and dwellings take shape all across the world.
As a result, we have reached a point in societal development where the citizens of modern cities have begun feeling a sense of hopelessness, instead of the great joy and wonder that architecture should bring into our lives.
For each beautiful building and work of heritage that faces demolition and abandonment worldwide, we lose a small part of our collective history and heritage. And with this loss comes the pain of every bystander, each seemingly powerless in their ability to stop the ever-charging train of "modernity".
From the green and vibrant Americas to the beating heart of Europe. From the diverse and colourful African continent to the deeply-woven cultural heritage of Asia. From the sea and the coast, to the plains and far beyond. Deserts and mountains. North, west, east and south. We are all united by our experiences of the way we shape our own small part of the world.
So join us in ensuring that our children can experience the same marvels of human-crafted beauty that we once could, and let us bring back architecture as a form of art. Because architecture is an art form, we have just forgotten how it was meant to be done.
